With the growth of Subaru sales, they needed to reconfigure logistics, handle greater inventory, and increase the number of vehicles processed at their facility. The project consisted of constructing 62,000 SF of Butler Pre-Engineered metal buildings, remodeling of existing office spaces, addition of a breakroom, restroom, and locker rooms, renovation of 200,000 SF of existing processing areas, and updating to meet ADA requirements. Energy efficiency upgrades to electrical and mechanical systems were completed throughout the facility, as well. During construction and renovations, all parties involved were able to maintain owner operations and sustain safety. As production schedules regularly changed, this proved to be a challenge that required solid communication between the owner, sub-contractors, and Construction Team.
